Rising in the East is from 2005, a couple of years after Rob rejoined the band. I like Ripper but don't believe
Priest had their best years with him - different style or something. Anyhow they recorded this probably with the early
Unleashed in the East from 1979. That was also recorded in Tokyo but this one was at the Budokan. Don't know
anything about the other place.
Unleashed was in 1979 and while
Stained Class had been released by then
the it opens with Exciter which is the opening track on Stained. The cover of
Bettery by You Better than Me that
was used as an excuse to sued them is there and another cover - probably the best part - is
The Green Manalishi.
About the only thing from Unleashed that shows up on Rising are
Exciter and
Diamonds and Rust by Joan Baez.
Beyond the Realms of Death is from Stained and always one of the best parts of a show. At twenty-five years later
their repertoire was much larger so they the encores are serious metal -
Hell Bent for Leather,
Living After Midnight, and
You've Got Another Thing Comin'
Whiskey of the day is a jug of Evan Williams Realtree label. That a special for the hunting season with a camo label on
a bottle of black. Missed Backwoods cigars as it'd been a while so I grabbed a few pouches at the gas station. Russian
Cream - whatever that is - is a favorite. You can chew on the end for hours after it about two-thirds smoked and it don't
come apart like most to. Cooler and wetter and outdoors more and I don't smoke indoors.
Trying to plant a couple of trees a day and generally managing to get it done. Where I put two dozen more pecans I dunno
but may pot a few a give'm to people next year. Debating another group of pines but will probbly go for it.
Classic pulp paperback of the day is
Tarnsman of Gor
by John Norman. The Gor books are controversial and for good reason - Google it. The first entry is tame enough and is a decent sword-and-planet adventure and there's
barely a hint of the controversial stuff that comes in the other books. Transplanted earthman Tarl gets educated in the ways of Gor and becomes a might tarn-riding
warrior and defeats the powerful king of a rival to his adopted city and marries takes his daughter for a wife.
Outside of the controversial stuff which some people like the books are criticized as being a low-quality knockoff of Burroughs' Barsoom books and there's something
to that but the books are longer with more complex plots with nearly forty of them opportunities for inventing all kinds of stuff as long as it isn't technology
because the masters suppress it.
That's probably the first printing (Ballantine Books) and price was 95 cents. DAW picked it up after the first few and would print another couple dozen or so. I
didn't finish the series as my reading just for entertainment dropped off for a while and the there was so much of the controversial stuff that it got boring.

Classic movie is my favorite of the set Mel did in 1970s. I suppose Blazing Saddles the one most remember and
probably Young Frankenstein but of the bunch I liked High Anxiety best. It was somewhat more cerebral
with jokes about shrinks bein' as loony as their patients and all the Hitchcock gags. Mel and Madeline Kanh are
charming as always. Sadly Madeline passed away rather young from cancer. Mel is still with us and about to hit the
century mark. I haven't heard of him having any health issues so hopefully he'll make it still be feeling good. Isaac
Asimov was editing a series of books of great SF stories of each year beginning in 1939. In a preface Isaac described
various events in the real world and at the end of each he notes that Mel Brooks was still Melvin Kaminsky. Since Mel
made the change sometime in the 1940s I suppose at some point he noted the change but don't remember it. Hafta look
sometime. Asimov died back in the early 1990s a little on the young side.
Didn't see many of Mel's movies anyway after this. the History of the World: Part I was pretty funny and I
was waitin' for the
second part
but that didn't happen until a couple years ago on TV. Guess it still TV even if it don't come over antenna or cable. Guess I
might watch it I ever get the time.

Weird snack of the day ain't so much weird unless eatin' ramen is just weird generally. Is all noodles thay you
put water on and microwave ramen? Or is there a class of snacks that some of are ramen and some aren't? Google
ain't real clear but sez some noodles cooked that way aren't ramen but some other Asian noodles.
First time to try Annie Chun's. Had some Suzy somebody before, similar to this. They put'em in plastic bowls
instead of styro or cardboard and the bowls look good enough to save a few for nuking and serving other stuff.
Usually have to use bleach when you wash them to get color and sometines particulate redidue of but I bleach
about everthing anyway.
Back when I had oats for breakfast ever morning I used a bowl like that but eating oats didn't prevent the heart
attack. Probably could have eliminated carbs back then and it wouldn't have happened.
Anyway they pretty good but not especially superior to some, less good than some even if they do come in fancy bowls
And that's word from this ramen connoisseur.

It was one of my lazy days. About once a week I go to bed about five or so in the afternoon and sleep until sunup,
and fool around all day doing mostly nothing. I don't exactly get annoyed when someone interrupts the routine but
prefer that it doesn't happen. I was already on the way to the kitchen for the first cup of coffee when the phone rang.
It was Roger. He rarely called as we usually ran into each other in town at least once a week and got all the conversing
we needed done at that time. And he doesn't like talking on the phone any more than I do. We're both about that same age,
in fact he's only a year younger, and grew up using phones that were designed for the purpose of sending and receiving
spoken words. I could tolerate the flip phones because some of them were close to accomplishing that, but the slabs still
try my patience.
Of course, that's only one of a few dozen things that suck about living so far into the new age. I go to a car show and see
an exquisite restored '58 Chevy Impala two-door hardtop or a '75 Trans-Am, maybe something really classic like an Auburn or
Packard from the '30s, then walk outside and look at the melted-down lumps that are not only ugly but have no character
whatsoever. Then I look at Jessica and say "tell me again why we can't have nice things like this any more".
Jessica is twenty-nine years younger than me. She smiles and doesn't say anything. People my age probably ask more rhetorical
questions than the younger ones. And no, I'm not a dirty old man and Jessica isn't a trophy wife, or 'arm candy' as they call
it these days (another thing I gripe about is the mutilation of the language - after years of abuse I still cringe when I hear
someone say 'comprised of' or refer to the 'tarmac' at the airport) - of course I know it happens but it still sucks to see a
once-great society rotting around you. In fact she isn't a wife at all, just my best friend.
Yeah, Roger is about as curmudgeonly as I am, so we get along pretty well. His wife died young, from cancer at 38. One of those
things, you hear about it now and then, and once in a while if happens to someone you know. He dealt with it mostly by applying
himself more assiduously to his work. He had started a small investigative/security business about the time she was first
diagnosed, and after her death it consumed most of his time. I had helped him when he was adding a cyber-security department
when that became a necessity, and still pitched in on a project occasionally.
"What's up, Doc?" I said.
"Just the usual," he replied. I knew better.

Actually the political center if there is one is the mainstream Republicans. Not many of the political ones but those who vote for
Republicans on account of they the lesser of two evils. But left - since the 'toonist seems to admit there is a left and a right is
so far gone it's approaching the political date line. I can see the last vestiges of Democrats even pretending not to be evil being
shown the door. Already gone in the House and
Schemer
may not be able to hang on much longer.
Personally I hope mainland intervention won't be necessary but certainly no boots on the ground and I believe President Trump
will stick with that. Few cruise missiles or better equipping some indigs to make strikes. Anyway the boats being blown up are
being identified and verified as carrying bulk drugs before being lit up. OK sweetie? ~~
Veneration for the Constitution may break it? The way reverence for the truth gets in the way of doing good? ~~
CBS seems to be trying to survive and maybe even remain relevant. Their new owners seem to be more interested in them being
profitable than being a government (when Dims are in control) propaganda organ. Bari Weiss is hardly a MAGA vast right-wing conspiracy type. ~~
What were gonna do? Put one of thousands of good pics and in any case that one looks doctored. And Trump doesn't bemoan - he makes smart-ass
remarks and insults the people who lie about him. ~~
Look, another load of drugs obliterated. ~~
Spirited remarks were the cow going back to ghetto rant in a church. I doube she will ever pay up but it would be funny
if they had a couple honest jurors to hang it and require another trial. Or two, and maybe offer a deal with no prision time. ~~
I am not at all concerned. These people are actually trying to kill ICE agents and they're showing remarkable restraint. ~~
If anything he confirmed that is is. And he is. ~~
One minute you're a drug runner skipping over the waves and 60+ with a ton of drugs with Taylor Swift in the earbuds and the
next you're in pieces skipping over the waves. Okey-dokey.
What, Chris?
Yeah, I just recycled the joke about the terrorist in his Hezbollah sedan singing along to Taylor Swift then the missile arrives.
Expect creativity? What I gonna talk about next?
Could be the folks at the Paragould Depressed are more conservative or just this what happens to be selected for inclusion.
Neither the Depressed nor the Jonestown Sun been puttin' up much editorial stuff lately. And
Cal Thomas
nor
Lee Hamilton
is at the forefront of discourse these days. Both get it right but not much visiblity and small newspapers aren't going to do much for it. Maybe like me
they just like to write some stuff to express their thoughts and if somebody wants to read it that good.
This clown
I don't see how anybody take him seriously. I'd listen to Candace Owens or Ben Shapiro before him.
Wynne and Cross County ain't had much to report but it could be people that manage the website ain't too energetic. Been looking regular but could be there ain't
much crime
around here. Kinda like Forrest City/St. Francis County. Anyhow the (or was when elected) gettin' right on the food crisis that awaits.
youngest black mayor
is on top of the crisis. Dunno if the
Dollar General groshery store
solved the food desert problem in Earle but I would guess it would. I confess that I have never been in a DG groshery store so can't figure on it.
Last time I's in a reggler Dollar General was years ago.
What, Chris?
No, he probly sincere in his intentions. Want to make Earle a better place and all. Not likely to happen and better to take a
Title 14
or something and let the city become just a place in the county that has quite a few people in the area. County sheriff and state
police take care of law eneforcement and state maintain the roads. Probly a pretty sharp young man but casting your lot with the Democrats
sez you ain't super smart or got good morals but...
What?
OK, as Theoden said I shall say no more. Alright, what next? How about another cartoon or something?
The Dimocrats are trying to get an extra one-point-something trillion on top of whatever the next few
trillion wil be and got the government shut down. Only way to get it going is kill the filibuster but the Republicans
don't wanna go there. Not that the dims won't if they get the opportunity again. The ATC people and some others (law
enforcement and military) actually have a legitimate function and should be paid but the 40 million parasites...
What, Chris?
OK, there a handful of millions that are poor people struggling to survive. There a whole bunch of handfuls of millions
third generation food stamps and Section 8 and Medicaid that can't be accurately described any other way. Anyway it the
Dims doing but they don't see clearly. For them the
dark glass
might as well be a brick wall. What's next? Memphis? Okey-dokey.
Third
inmate death
in nine days. That a big jail but it seems to be
quite a few
lately. A local politician said this but he got his reasons.
State Representative Justin J. Pearson is now urging state leaders to step in, saying more than 60 people have died at 201 Poplar since 2019. He's
calling for "decisive and collaborative action to ensure no more lives are lost."
WREG.com
This last one was a Caucasian so he probly don't care as much. For him it all about being black or white and to him white bad. Now six years
or seven depending on where the clock start and stop running is about ten a year and that's quite a lot. Lot of criminals in Memphis and they
keep that place full but ten a year seems kinda like a lot.
Found remains not been too common lately.
This one didn't have much info so far.
Who it was or how it got to be remains and all. Found a thirty-something year old one somewhere the other day but this one just being found it'll
probaby take a while.
As usual there some people
don't want improvement.
Don't know if
he just ignorant
or just don't care about the facts. I'm going with don't care. Lots of white and Asian and African and Middle East people being deported but percentate-wise
of course with 20 million you got a lot more brown. That you got
that many kids disappeared
and nobody done anything and suddenly you got serious law enforcement going on and they find them in large numbers. How you be so evil as to hurt children?

Roger called late on Monday to see if a Wednesday departure would be satisfactory, and I said it was. So Wednesday morning found the four of us on the way to the airport. It was an almost two hour drive, and Jessica drove us in her '95 Ford Taurus. The blue one - she has two, one a vaguely light medium blue, the other some shade of what I call bronzy-brown. Except for color they are identical - a restoration shop run by some of Roger's connections in the prepper community rebuilt them to my specs, which included a turbocharged engine and heavy-duty transmissions made for the Ford police cars. They top out around 145 and handle as well as they go fast.
Not that they ever did it on a public road - an occasional visit to a private venue had to suffice for that. We scrupulously observe all laws, including traffic laws. Encounters with the law over traffic violations are opportunities for bad things to happen, and the declining quality of LE personnel has made that bad situation worse. Blue lights in the mirror when you know you haven't committed a violation is a sign something is definitely wrong.
Jessica and Rebecca were both carrying, as always. They would drop us at the airport without leaving the car so there was no need to disarm. Roger and I had our weaponry in our bags. We wouldn't be going through screening for a commercial flight, but Roger's contact had advised that we not be armed when we boarded. Like Missouri, Idaho is a 'constitutional carry' state, and both states recognize the others' concealed carry permits, which we all have, so we would encounter no problems related to being armed.
We went to the desk of a small charter service and located our contact, who called for someone to conduct us to the boarding area. We were early and so had a few minutes to watch the air traffic. There wasn't much traffic at the small airport with just a handful of commercial flights daily. So when we saw a Gulfstream G600 rolling to the end of the runway it was probably our ride.
It was, and as they walked out the passenger door opened and two men came down the stairs. Both were younger than Roger and me, one looked to be in his forties, the other one perhaps ten years younger. Not that I'm any good at guessing ages - Jessica swears I look ten years younger than my age and I'm sure it's more like ten years older. They helped us get ourselves and our luggage aboard and ourselves seated before bothering to introduce themselves.
"I'm Frank Eastwood," the older one told us, "and this is Patrick Norris," indicating his companion. "We're part of a group that's been in business in Idaho for longer than just about any of the people who've moved here in recent years. Patrick's family and mine go way back, several generations, so we pre-date the recent influx. We were preppers before there were preppers."
"Nice ride you got," Roger said. "We should see if we get invited more often."
"We're lucky to be in pretty good shape financially," Frank said. "But the plane is jointly owned by a number of, interests you might say. And gee-fours can be had for reasonable prices, it's pretty old. A flexible air fleet comes in handy for our needs."
"I guess being able to bypass commercial air would be handy," Roger said. "Presumably our cargo is too sensitive for that."
"We think so," Frank said. "You'll get the whole story when we land. But essentially we need to move something, or rather some things, quickly and quietly to a place no one is likely to look."
I was guessing Roger had agreed to take the material we had discussed off their hands and hide it somewhere, otherwise we wouldn't be on a pricey jet headed for the wilds of Idaho.
After right at two hours were rolling, deplaning in a light snow and and a stiff wind. We had worn heavy leather jackets in anticipation, and between trying to carry my bags without first putting on gloves, I chose the gloves. A car was waiting - a jeep actually, a tricked-out late model - and soon we were on our way to somewhere out of the way.

I was readin' some about this dude and while pseudo-intellectual fits most he may be the most deluded.
Or is it lame-brain? Midwit on a good day. Presumably he saying that Cheney bad but Orange Man worse.
Obama and Biden were so bad it was unbelievable but not if you a mind-numbed Dimocrat. I voted for Bush/Cheney
because they weren't
Algore
and
John Effen Kerry.
I was always suspicious of Cheney but he and his daughters (one "came out" and all of a sudden he was good with
something (homosexual marriage) that he had professed to oppose when it was politically expedient) and the other
(Miss Piggy) went full-throttle wacko.
Local stuff you got couple or three. Local being Cross County where my primary undisclosed location is.
Lepanto
is in Poinsett County kinda out there being as Harrisburg and Trumann and even Marked Tree a good ways off. OK it about ten-twelve
miles from Marked Tree but further to the others. Population under 2K. Anyway dude supposedly abducted somebody in Misery. Place he
supposedly from way over past Sikeston (where the restaurant where they throw rolls is) and plumb over in Arkansas and Lepanto no less.
Pretty good ways. Bleev I mentioned Lepanto sometime before, named after a famous battle over in Europe a few centuries ago where the
muslims got their asses whupped. Anyhow as usual not much details, just a malefactor from Misery got apprehended in Arkansas. Okey-dokey.
It seems that
this
was unrelated to the church. Two guys stopped at the church and one shot the other. 1100 or so on a Sunday the church services were likely
to have been in progress.
This
was an old case. Guess they found the body near forty years ago but now figure they know who it was. DNA and stuff.
Wynne has a branch of
this bank
but the local paper doesn't seem to have much to say about it. I got some doubts about
stings
but there some where they go to a lot of trouble to get guys that curious but never done it and probably wouldn't. Is it good to catch
them before they do? Could be. In any case this dude looks to be not a first-timer.
I doubt Dick and George are in the clouds. I voted for Bush because he wasn't Algore or Kerry and he didn't do much better. Sure we
forestalled the decay that came with Obama and Biden but he wasn't much good aside from that. Sixteen and I lost a cousin somewhat older
in Vietnam and eighteen coming up fast that not a good feeling. If I got a soft spot for Nixon maybe you know.
In Jonestown they still arresting people for the
"brawl".
Okey-dokey. Could tell you what some people that was there say but as somebody said,
what difference does it make?
Not sure what a
former professional basketball player
being arrested is worth commenting on but I guess if he in Arkansas maybe
important. Or in Poinsett County Arkansas. Or a basketball player.
Of the big three basketball is the most mindless. I understand to some degree the attraction of football but there isn't much mind there.
Baseball is the only one that requires a functioning mind in nearly all players, basketball almost none. That is why you don't see the dominant strain there - American Caucasian,
Hispanic of various origins, African-American, Asian (mostly Japanese) are a part. The intellectual part can't be overlooked and that is probably
close to being the most important factor. That's why it's in last place.
MiniLindy@MyndCryme
That was
pretty dumb.
People don't know there cameras everywhere? Dunno which one that is - I don't usually cruise Kingshighway when I on Paragould. Narrow most of the way in town
but drive out west to the Tractor Supply now and then. Got a nice Tractor Supply unlike Jonesboro where it twenty or more years old. Which Jordans this is Idunno.
Next week or two I may be out that way but whatever. Jordans pretty good places, put a big new one in at Harrisburg and I drive through there all the time but it
on the left side and I rarely have it in mind to stop on the way up to Jonestown. Maybe remember to stop on the way home sometime and check it out. Anyway stealing
not good and why some people don't get that Idunno.
Yeah well, the way it is. Since 90% of politicians do nothing but run for reelection anyway. Even senators - Democrat ones anyway -
don't make a move without considering the possible effect good or bad. During the Schemer Shutdown the eight senators who voted to
end it aren't up for reelection next year. There are some Republicans - quite a few actually - who don't but it's the ones that are
in deep red states and successful primary challenges are few and far between.
I had no idea who they were an don't know why I googled them. Why to people have to announce to the world that they are having
a homosexual relationship? I never felt the need to announce my normal relationships. Or the fact that I am heterosexual. If
I were any other way I wouldn't see a need to share that either. ~~
What have Black Communities always known? What they know now is that less crime occurs when there is serious law enforcement.
While the usual malcontents kick and scream the majority of the Black Communities appreciate having less crime. ~~
So there's different colors of Gen X? How come everything needs to be categorized by color? Or sexual behavior? And I didn't
bother go google the guy. If he a rapper he may well be dead by time time I read it. ~~
The message to President Trump - if he heard it - at best got a moderately good laugh. ~~
The stuff was pretty mild compared to Democrats but since Republicans did it.... ~~
No idea why I bothered to include that either. Weird news catetory I guess. ~~
Turns out he is dead. I'm guessing the reason for the first article was that but missed it. ~~
Illegals getting medically treated on my dime makes me unhappy. ~~
They still building windmills and sun farms but without as much taxpayer input. I live in the
middle of a wind farm and it sounds like low-flying aircraft except it goes on continuously for hours.
We do have relatively little crime of the homicide type over here in NEA and
things like this
are fortunately relatively uncommon. Still not much details on
this
but they keep arresting more people from Misery and around. Almost killed one of the victims. Don't get why people run from police
when they gotta figure what
will eventually happen.
Postponing the inevitable but when the inevitable is so often permanent... something makes me think the perps also weren't wearing the old seatbelts but the people write this stuff
can confuse.
The 20-year-old suspect from Little Rock was ejected and transported to Baptist Medical Center with injuries. Troopers were able to rescue one of two passengers,
but both passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorist struck during the pursuit was not injured.
KJNB.com
I guess it
worried the dims
enough to shut the government down until the election was over. There wasn't much doubt about how it would go in the dim places. It looked like Jersey might get some since
since they almost did one or two times but they probably gone. The commie muslim got in pretty easy in NYC and that should be fun to watch. For those who don't live there.
When you take people that have for the most part no redeeming qualities aside from physical ability and give them millions of dollars a year to entertain you don't be
surprised when
they act they way they do
- I suspect the sense of entitlement may have played a part.
The process of removal continues.
Old RINOs are going slowly and whatever Lindsey Graham is he probably gonna be around for a while but he's given relatively little trouble for some reason. I have an idea but
that beyond the scope of this discussion. More worrying are the saboteurs posing as conservatives and claming to be MAGA while giving the left cause to say there Nazis and
stuff in our ranks. Actually they're hanging around stirrin' up trouble and probably making some money.
Dunno where that'll all go. Some that got the money build their own power generation, seems Google or Microsoft of somebody
agreed to buy the output of the old Three Mile Island plant if they get it going again.
How times have changed. They'll probly figger it out if the democrats don't get control of much of the government for a
few years. Especially the presidency since we seen how much damage that can do. Maybe the mini-reactors they working on.
If you can put them in submarines and operate safely for fifty sixty years or whatever. Of course the military discipline
essential for safety won't be there so whoknows?
I would expect about all TV to be gone eventually. Even the old CBSABCNBC stuff can be streamed and
that where the money and growth is. ~~ Depends on the situation but yeah, it can happen. In the present
situation there are plenty of federal law enforcement to handle arrests and a need for Guare personnel
to do so is unlikely. ~~ Nope, the latest No Kings came and went and dunno how much it cost but was
reportedly in the billions. Will there be more? Probably. ~~ I know it'll be cool as all get-out like
everthing President Trump does. ~~ Mar-a-Lago had almost nothing to do with it. She worked there and
before Trump banned him Epstein saw her and she became one of his victims. But they gotta make it about
Donald Trump ~~ If there wasn't so much misinformation perpetrated by the government and Medical Industry
people wouldn't be as confused. ~~ The horror! They essentially were asked to not commit crimes. ~~
Another federal judge thinks he/she is president. ~~ It must suck to be that.... whatever. If you buy
used books or borrow somebodys or steal'em she already seriously rich and famous and has won all her
battles with the pervs. Think about it - you like the work but hate who did it. How about just not
read Harry Potter or watch the movies?
Forget who that dude is but he regular on the Jonestown and Paragould paper feed. Anyhow the dims are his people
and they responsible for the whole thing.
This dude
sez shutting off food stamps the only leverage they have.
This one
say if they had to they'd have airplanes crashing to get what they want. They didn't get it but addicting millions of people to free food and stuff
and then taking away isn't very compassionate or empathic. If it weren't that there are a few people that really are poor and disabled and need that
food the vast majority aren't and I have a little trouble with the empathy thing.
Blytheville schools finally got a
new super.
Twenty years in Atlanta, Memphis, St. Louis and Syracuse the first three would flag her as dodgy and Syracuse close to OK. On the other hand Blytheville
schools - and the town generally - don't have far to fall. Since she appointed by the state that took over the school that might be a good thing but
how much a super can do so much without some quality elsewhere.
Corning ain't in the news much and I can't
remember there being a homicide there in a long time. Corning up there near the state line and northwest of Paragould and Piggott and them places.
Back in the day an aunt on Mom's side lived there, not in town but on the farm outside. Married a rich farmer and we used to to Thanksgiving up there
a lot. Anyhow you on parole you shouldn't go looking for trouble.
What, Chris?
Probly not.
What?
Not sure if I ever seen a Tarantino movie. Not all the way through anyway. Lost interest and maybe the movie was still on but I fell asleep or
got all interrupted. Lessee..... yeah, I seen parts of a couple of early ones. Not my cup of tea I guess.
This one
on KAIT because it about Arkansas. Had a picture of what look like backyard chickens. Since the former regime is gone and we still got three years
of peace they probably won't any mass killings of poultry go the egg prices up. Reason I mentioned
yardbirds is that people keeping chickens to get cheap eggs
and meat if they wanna is a target of the ones that want people under their thumbs. Taking peoples' chickens away could be as difficult as takin'
their guns.
Believe I talked about that one a while ago. They gotta us anything they can get. ~~ Well, it was a made up term to smear conservatives and
he was just pointing out that it made no sense. ~~ Seven or eight so far. ~~ If he actually believes he is a woman he is mentally ill and
should fight the illness. Instead he fought girls. ~~ Actually the people who committed various and sundry crimes trying to put him in
prison are now being prosecuted for same. Few if any are likely to have to pay but the obligation to pursue justice remains. ~~ Trump
didn't "weigh" COP attendance - he never intended to go or send an official representative. ~~ Many citizens have indeed been arrested
for interfering with ICE operations including vehicular assaults and lately shooting at them. ~~ Fished out a couple of survivors after
that one and found out where they from and sent them back as a warning to others comtemplating similar activity. ~~ The massive projected
turnoud did not materialize. Again.
Little Memphis and Mississippi news. Don't remember if I talked about all the sheriffs and stuff got arrested over there but
DeSoto County
just across the state line so Memphis kinda spills over. Named for the Spanish guy that was over there exploring
and died and supposedly they put his body in the Mississippi so the Indians wouldn't know he died. He died over in Arkansas and
supposedly there a place there at Parkin where me met up with some Indians. Got an archaeology site over there.
Power outages
pretty common
in Memphis. Little rain and wind and the lights go off all over. Been that way for years and about all
you hear about it is the power outages and sometimes people complain but seemingly not much. I seem to remember the city was going to
sell it off and let it be privately run but seems nothing came of it. People in charge of stuff don't wanna give it up no matter how
inept they are ad operating it.
Gallaway over there in Fayette
County, about thirty miles. Population under 1K according to
Wickedpedia. Seems some people not too smart but there
you are - I don't put any tint on my cars and in fact one time I bought a used on with it and got it off quick as I don't like not being
able to see where I going. And I don't like to attract the attention of law enforcement. I don't carry drugs when I drive around either
and I didn't do that even when I was many years younger than sixty-five.
"Well, you know what I personally believe," he said. "There are too many who won't go quietly for it to work. Whether there are a half billion guns in circulation, as is generally believed, or more it's going to be ugly. The left is counting on incrementally accomplishing their objective, as they have for the past fifty, sixty, or more, years. The problem of armed resistance remains, and it won't go away. If they try to eliminate the guns it'll happen that much sooner. They don't believe that will happen, so they'll try."
"And life will suck for a lot of people."
"Pretty much, but we'll make sure it sucks a lot more for them."
I didn't know exactly what that meant, but the 'we' part suggested he was an insider in whatever he expected to happen. I decided it was time to move on.
"Where does Oklahoma City fit in?" I asked.
"Even though the socio-political course is pretty much a lost cause," he said, "we aren't abandoning it. Anything we can do to expose and discomfit the enemy, we'll do. Election fraud, false flag attacks to stir up the sheeple against reformers, we investigate. Partly because it helps us identify enemies who need to be targeted in the future, and because it opens at least a few eyes, no matter how effectively it's muffled by the corporate media. This is one of those cases. I'm being compensated, by the way, at least for expenses, but it's part of the overall mission."
"You're part of the vast right-wing conspiracy?" I asked. "Or whatever it's called these days."
"To the degree that there is one, I guess so. As far as I know there isn't a huge organization working to take over the government - other than the Democrat party and their allies - if there was it would eventually be penetrated and exposed. As for organizations of various types and sizes, there are those. I've worked with some of them. There are occasional rumors of something really big, well hidden, and quite capable, but I don't know what it is."
"So what's the current project?"
"More along the lines of vexing the enemy. I'm not sure at this point how to handle if, or how much choice I'll have. Let's go back to the origin. What was your impression, upon reflection, of the OK City thing?"
"What do I think happened?"

Branco nails it every time and is about the best there is. I'll get some of Ramirza and Garrison occasionally as they're pretty good too. This about the election in
Minneapolis where they were hoping for another muslim-african mayor like they got in NYC. He missed by a hair but they not much better off with what they got.
Afterwards he made a speech in Somali about how great it is for Minneapolis go be becoming Minnesomalia. No matter, watching the Big Apple rotting with worms crawling
around in it will be plenty of fun.
A bit more crime and Memphis....
What, Chris?
I got some Memphis stuff that ain't crime. It's here somewhere. Anyway we'll do the crime first. Dunno how many
Dollar Generals but another one got
robbed. Chris says there about twenty. The cleanup crew sent by the governor been finding all kinds or missing children.
This one
turned up in Hawaii. Turns out his father was living in a van there and the Hawaii police found him. Doesn't say what will happen as to whether
he comes back to Memphis or now.
This one
been wanted since 2012 but apparently wasn't wanted very bad.
This
is non-Memphis but WREG had it on the website. The tellystations do that, put some national stuff on there especially if it something bad about President Trump. This one was to clear all
the victims of lawfare that hadn't been tried mosly - couple or three might have done some time - but he tying up loose ends. And din't use the autopen.
The disaster at the CDC was the CDC. One that gave us the Plandemic and tried to get monkeypox made into something
until too many people found out what it is and how you get it. We should be safe from millions of chickens being
exterminated to get egg prices (and chicken and turkey flesh) prices up for a while. ~~ Being a nanny is at least an
honest job and an honorable profession. Lot of people had it good and not so much now. ~~ Nope, about the same or
not quite as much. When you have to pay people and bus them in it's difficult to get big ones all over the place.
Little places like Jonestown and even Memphis they had just a few handfuls. ~~ Some high-dollar bigshots still screw it
up and have to backtrack. I figured this guy was already woke enough not to make that mistake. Or maybe he irritated
about the state of affairs. ~~ Actually he's waging war on crime and the local bigwigs don't like it. How is less people
gettin' killed a bad thing. And how come they didn't already fix the problem? Rhetorical question Chris. ~~
There at least 15 million illegals here so if they're gone they won't have jobs here and more Americans will have them ~~
Sure had a lot of No Kings stuff. ~~ I actually read these things to see what they about and the movie was the Rock Horror
Picture Show. Regular readers probably know my opinion on that. ~~ I screw this up pretty good. Check the code. ~~ Okey-dokey.
One more from Branco. Couldn't resist. Back when Biden was infesting the presidency he drew him with bloody hands. Usually holding a
sippy cup in his bloody hand. Believe was because of the Afghanistan debacle that got so many prople killed.
Give the Imdoden folks a hit. They get a lot of
drug arrests
up there. Another
shootin' in Marianna.
They don't have that many and there seem to be fewer most places these days outside of Memphis. Even Little Rock don't seem to have a lot. Dunno if
state police.
investigate all homicides of just those in some places. Google say no and I gues in the larger cities they wouldn't unless requested. Probably
if the West Memphis Three case had been it would have been different. Not sure if they would have caught the perp(s) as West Memphis sits there where
I-40 and I-55 cross and when I first heard about it I wondered if it was someone passing through. Lot of traffic and a lot of bad people.
At least he didn't
t-bone a civilian
car and cripple some poor soul for life.
Wouldn't expect for any consequences for
this dude.
They keep
arresting brawlers
but only information is they beat a couple of kids up bad and near killed one. Guess there be a trial at some point.
Chucky Schemer was the big dog for years and it looks to be over. Some figure he'll decide not to run next time even if it is another
two years after the upcoming election. The crazy young ones takin' over and either don't care if they burn the place down or don't see
it. The idea seems to be to do as much damage as possible all around and hope to pick up the pieces.
President Trump
isn't attending
and dunno if anyone even asked - should be pretty obvious he wouldn't. Not even sending anybody. Newscum went to represent California and run for president.
That's exacly what he's doing
and it's difficult to believe that some of these people don't get so why the hysteria? Hoping others will believe it? Orange homo malus. That's latin Chris.
The ballroom thing got them about as exercised as anything. Some dims saying if a dim get's elected he should tear it down immediately. ~~
OK for blue states but not red states. Actually the red states are bring the balance back where the blues are trying to squeeze out a
few more. ~~ I suspect the reason the survivors were sent back was to encourage others not to try it. Bet these won't. ~~ Since Microsoft
is the easiest to crack they probaly alarmed more. ~~ OK sweetie. That's about as hare-brained as anything. Doesn't even look good on paper. ~~
They did. ~~ There haven't actually been a lot. I guess if they had one a week ago and just had another it mounted. Lot of people getting
injured interfering. Don't seem to learn. ~~ Ole Johnny could be in some trouble. Hope he is. ~~ The only thing experiencing a near-death
experience in this case is requiring a racial minority to be allowed to have the same influence as the majority. But only one minority.

"Since McVeigh was already planning to do it, they didn't have to arrange for a fall guy - he was already there."
"That's pretty much it," Roger said. "The fact that McVeigh eventually admitted it isn't relevant?"
"What else was he going to do? He was toast when they caught him, and knew it. He may have always expected to be caught, and die. He actually rubbed
in in at the end, with the '160 to 1' comment. But what's new?"
Roger handed me an eight-by-ten color photo. It was apparently a photo of McVeigh, the infamous perpetrator sitting in a car. It appeared that he was stopped
in traffic, perhaps at a traffic light. The window was down, his left arm hanging slightly out the window. He was looking straight ahead.
"This from the big day?" I asked.
Roger had a stack of photos. He selected another one and handed it to me.
"Look at the clock."
The photo showed the same view from a slightly different angle. In the background, above the front of the truck but with McVeigh still partially in the picture,
was a large sign of a type often found in front of some business, notably banks, in those days. This one looked fairly new, atop a tall brick column. Most of
the ones I had seen back then were rather crude compared to the digital signage now in use. Usually it was a matrix of light bulbs, just enough to show the
time and temperature and not much more.
This one was bigger and fancier, with several rows of text and colored lights. This one showed the date - APR 19, 1995. The time was 8:58 AM. I remembered the date
well enough. Presumably the time was important. I remembered it was around that time, 9 A.M. or so. I looked up at Roger.
"9:02" he said. "Officially, anyway. McVeigh is sitting at a traffic light, about twelve, thirteen miles from the building. In traffic we're talking about a half hour
or more. He may well have been sitting there when the bomb went off."
"Assuming it could be proven," I said, "what would the effect be?"
"Little. Probably none in the long run. But it could get attention, stir things up again. The people I'm working for at the very least want it preserved, safely, and used
for whatever mileage is in it."
"Wouldn't it immediately get dismissed as a Photoshop hoax?"
Roger grinned. "Think about it." he said. "When did you get your first digital camera?"
"Beats me," I replied. "Are you gonna tell me someone has analog negatives of those pictures?"
"Exactly. Digital cameras were fairly new in '95. And expensive. Most people were still using the old 35 millimeter analog cameras. Especially old-school
private eyes."
"Private eyes? OK, so now we have a private eye taking pictures of Tim McVeigh? Why?"

They don't like it already. ~~ Don't plan on it. My nearest neighbor a quarter mile away. ~~ Thus far none have been successful in
permanently avoiding expulsion. Probably some will slip through the cracks but if we get 70-80 percent of them gone it wil be good.
A few blue states will lose congressional seats. ~~ Maybe some streets were filled, parts of them anyway, in the places where they
bussed them in on a large scale. Most places it was a few people standing around beside the street. ~~ Stop rioting there won't be
any tear gas. Obey the law, how hard is that? ~~ Haen't heard much after the first couple of days. Word is it wasn't a place where
people would be hunting. Fake news will probably say Trump's people had it put there. ~~ Don't know of anyone trying to. ~~ Only one
takeaway needed - waste of time and money. ~~ Funny how that happens.
How about we call it a day.
