There is some sand in the gears and getting it out will be diffcult. Most of it is executive actions such as deporting illegal aliens and defanging federal agencies being blocked by judges. Anyone with the intelligence to have passed the seventh grade - in normal schools anyway - knows the judges have no authority outside their district and none at al in executive action yet for the time being President Trump is playing by their rules. The administration dutifully appeals and the rulings thus far have been upheld by the district courts which also have no authority.

It seems that for now they are waiting for the Supreme Court to rule but whether SCOTUS will even take the cases is unknown. I consider it likely that they may refuse to hear the cases and let them stand. What does President Trump do then? Ignore them? There is nothing they can do (as Andrew Jackson explained) but what other consequences are there? Democrats will hate Trump even more and the state-run media will rant to its dwindling audience that Trump is evil and should be killed. They're already doing that. Should the Republicans lose their narrow majority he would be impeached but that will happen anyway.

If it comes to it it's difficult to see a downside to telling all judges including SCOTUS to pound sand and move on. He can pardon himself for everything before leaving office and should even if his successor is a Republican. It may be too much to expect that some Trump people can go through back channels to Roberts and advise him that that is what will happen and he might want to save himself the embarrassment by doing the right thing. And it's almost certain that Roberts is too dumb to see it coming.

Like some people around here I won't speak or write the names of especially despicable people. As my friend Enak explains it:

To speak the name of a person implies some level of resect or acknowledgment of some value, even if it is only their status as a human being. For such people I have not even that much respect. -- Enak
Google AI explains it thus:

Then there is the other method of expressing contempt:

Now that we have that out of the way on to today's thoroughly despicable individual. You can get the name here. I haven't yet delved deeply enough to find where the money for this show came from. Her parents don't seem to have had the kind of money to send her to a (reportedly) $30,000 per year private school and then college and law school. And the way she dresses and the amount of work on makeup must be equal to that of a top news anchor on a major television outlet for what that's worth. She is not especially intelligent - in fact I would rate her below Ocrazio and she's a midwit on a good day. Whatever the case she makes more Repubublican voters every time she oppens her mouth. At least when she opens it to speak.

So what's the game plan? There are signs that a Sanders/Cortez may be the plan for 2028 but it's early. Cockroach as we call her doesn't seem to be part of any discernible strategy. Is she just another loose cannon? I hope so and that she continues to roll to and fro as the Democrat ship rocks. The guy that pulled fire alarm and the crazy one from St. Louis were removed by the party for less than she has been doing lately.

Marjorie Taylor Greene slapped her pretty good with the false eyelashes remark and her response suggests that hatred of white people is her main motivation. Much as she tries to look like one - hair straighetning and skin ligthening - she will never be one. Perhaps she is just enjoying the ride and figures it will never end. Republicans want her to stay and run her mouth for as long as possible.

Man cannot survive except through his mind. He comes on earth unarmed. His brain is his only weapon. Animals obtain food by force. man had no claws, no fangs, no horns, no great strength of muscle. He must plant his food or hunt it. To plant, he needs a process of thought. To hunt, he needs weapons, and to make weapons - a process of thought. From this simplest necessity to the highest religious abstraction, from the wheel to the skyscraper, everything we are and we have comes from a single attribute of man -the function of his reasoning mind. Ayn Rand ~ The Fountainhead

The primary thing when you take a sword in your hands is your intention to cut the enemy, whatever the means. Whenever you parry, hit, spring, strike or touch the enemy's cutting sword, you must cut the enemy in the same movement. It is essential to attain this. If you think only of hitting, springing, striking or touching the enemy, you will not be able actually to cut him. -- Miyamoto Musashi, The Book of Five Rings
