Watching the lunacy out in California the past few days I see some possibilities. At this point they're like seeing that bullet almost not miss Donald Trump. Looking at the picture I have asked myself - certain other factors aside - had it missed entirely would the effect have been the same? At the time I like many in my present social group saw a Divine hand - not just the bullet just not quite missing but doing no serious damage but the bullet being fired. To use the tagline of the late Ross Perot - stay with me on this.

In Exodus we are told several times that on six occasions (I believe I got that right) God hardened Pharaoh's heart to refuse to let his cheap labor force depart. It was done to demonstrate beyond reasonable doubt to anyone who was in charge. It was enough to get the Exodus underway but apparently Ramses II (the estimated pharoah - there are some calendar alignments in question) wasn't completely convinced and so tried to retrieve them before they got too far away. Presumably the final lesson took or maybe it was just getting too expensive.

I don't expect those on the other side to believe this but I ceased to care a long time ago to care what midwit (on a good day) indoctrinated fools believe. The sniper may not know why he was there - he seems to have been yet another manipulated tool - but he served a purposed. Not the purpose of his handlers but a higher one. They were also used to demostrate the futility of opposing a destiny set by the higher power.

The iconic photo of Trump regaining his feet, blood streaming down his face, fist in the air may never be surpassed. The napalm girl (horrible as that is), the Kent State propaganda shot, the Saigon police chief extra-judicially dispensing with an insurgent fighter and others made a big splash in their time but if - and this is still a fair-sized if - President Trump does succeed in ushering even a modestly golden Golden Age it may be one of the most iconic ever. But at this point the if is still there and time will tell.

The problem is that The Enemy today knows he will lose in the end and only wants to do as much damage to humankind as he can get done before it's over. So his minions in the USA and elsewhere will continue doing what they're doing. First though we have to get through 20 January - I doubt not that there are schemes to prevent Trump assuming the presidency even with the knowledge that VP Vance would be little different from Trump. He's a very smart guy and will know what to do and has the advantage of political skills and the willingness to use them. Trump has a certain type but Vance knows the enemy well and how to deal with it. Which is one of the reasons I find the mess in California amusing.

Not that I'm amused at people losing their homes and the not-so-rich suffering and even some of the rich are pretty decent sorts - they just didn't abandon their left coast mansions for more sane climates soon enough. The rich commie tools I have somewhere south of zero sympathy for - they put that regime in place with their financial support and personal influence for what that is worth. Still - before I get to the main point - some of it has been seriously amusing.

Los Angeles was being run by a number of midwit fat lesbians - I'm being generous with midwit - whose only qualification was their race and sex and willingness to be tools for a price. Any price but in this case they were getting a pretty good one.

In the brilliant TV soap (the only one actually - night or day) one of the characters tells J.R. Ewing someone would sell her mother for the right price, or the wrong price. J.R. tells her it's a perfect character reference - people who sell to the highest bidder.

In places like Los Angeles or New York City of Chicago it's not a matter of bidding - the local machine selects a tool and price offered is so far above that they could ever get honestly it's a no-brainer. Since the recipient is pretty much a no-brainer....

The fat midwit lesbians of whatever color or non-color being responsible for running some rather important things may have finally reached critical mass. Los Angeles was a clusterfuck of epic dimensions.

A couple of gems:

Fat lesbian Caucasian Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Kristin Crowley: "That's my position on this. So if there's no water, I don't know how the water gets to the hydrants. Please defer that to DWP or whomever controls that part," she added. "But I can tell you the resiliency of our firefighters. If there's no water, they're going to go find water. They're going to figure out a way to do the best they can with what they've got in a very dynamic situation."
Fat lesbian Los Angeles Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Kristine Larson: "Am I able to carry your husband out of a fire? He got himself in the wrong place."
Most of the fat lesbians are indeed named some permutation of Kristine. Sheesh. Isn't that what Sarah Palin used to say? I wish she could be here to see the people that mocked her being mocked organically. [1]

These are dimwits (like post turtles [2] only the average turtle is probably smarter) and their remarks are the arrogance of ignorance. They are low-IQ tools promoted so far above their level of incompetence - they started below that - and have been protected by a system that is breaking down. They are incapable of cogent thought and lucid conversation. The protective shell is broken and the putrid entrails are exposed.

I'll skip the Los Angeles (fat lesbian of color) who was in Africa when this started [3] as it seems to have become pretty much part of the background noise. Let's get on to the biggest loser. He just doesn't know it yet and probably won't until the final round.

California governor Newsom - much as he would have liked to - couldn't escape. The guy who showed up on Sean Hannity's show and collapsed like a sandcastle in an unexpected downpour and his wife called the show and ask them to stop had the unmitigated arrogance to go out for a walk among the peasants and found himself fleeing a citizen while pretending to call someone or other on his phone. His presidential ambitions were in peril after the Hannity interview but this clown is so dissociated from reality that he will still run for president in 2028.
Newsom will run if only because he is so completely nescient that he has no concept of the reality outside California. I suspect that both he and Giggles will run and won't be surprised if he drops out before Giggles does. ~ MAGAHurtz@MyndCryme
I concur. That video of Newsom fleeing a citizen whose house is a pile of ashes will be like the Willie Horton piece and used by his competitors in the primaries. He won't need to worry about being eviscerated by J.D. Vance in the general because he won't be there. It's unlikely that JD will face an adversary of any competence as so far it looks like the enemy doesn't have much to offer. But 2028 is a long way off - one thing that would encourage me is the Republicans holding the House and or even increasing their lead and picking up a seat or two in the Senate would make me feel really good. If one wants to go on omens it looks pretty good about now.

A couple of days ago I expected this to be winding down but it looks like more may be coming. Some may object to my suggestion of Divine judgment but most of them are blaming climate change and President Trump who isn't even president yet. One or two of them said what about San Francisco? Don't you claim it's as bad or worse?

I agree that San Francisco is an order of magnitude (maybe a couple) worse than Los Angeles in a moral corruption sense - they're about equal politically - but it's early yet. California has gotten away with being as corrupt and incompetent as many third world countries for a long time and San Francisco is on borrowed time as earthquakes (bad ones) go. Whether the rest of the country has to pay up for California (and New York City) if they don't get cleaned up remains to be seen.

It will be interesting to see the sociopolitical impact or if there is any. The exodus of normal people continues but it is small compared to the total population. They lost a House seat last time as did New York - if the trend continues and a lot of illegals are deported they could lose more. Every little bit helps. Whether the government changes is harder to guess. A lot of rich people are mad at Democrats about now and any on the lower economic tiers that were inclined to vote for them or not yet motivated to vote them out may have seen the light.

Some have suggested that the incoming Attorney General might want to look at federal laws broken in the use of funds and at RICO actions both civil and criminal. That would be a target-rich environment and I wouldn't mind seeing some of those smug fat clowns being removed from their posts in a way they won't like.

Speaking of DEI hires I asked Google about it and naturally I got a Wickedpedia hit right up there:

A friend who has suffers fools less gladly than do I said and I quote:
No you stupid shits it is not because people are assumed to have received preferential treatment because of their race, color, sex or sexual proclivities it's because they have proven that they have no redeeming qualities and that's the only reason they were hired.

~ Talmudius@MyndCryme
I'm old enough to remember when Wickedpedia was about the best thing around, so much that a lot of schoolteachers hated it because it exposed their propaganda or ignorance. I showed younger folks how to use Wickedpedia but use the same references Wikipedia used (at the bottom of the articles) so the teachers wouldn't know. That was interesting a couple of times. It's been such a tool these days it's useless for research on current issues - unless you want to find the disinformation.

Whether there isn't anything left to burn or conditions improved it seems stable out in California. Certainly a lot has been burned and what happens after it's over is anyone's guess. Many of the people living there probably don't know. A lot of rich people inclined to blindly support the Democrats are having to face what they created. Some will probably leave - there's already an exodus of regular people and business - and a lot more regular people than before are upset. If the Trump administration has even modest success in stopping the influx of illegals and removing a lot California may lose another Congressional seat or two. Same for New York.

A log of attention was on the confirmation hearings. Pete Hegseth was epic and it seems that the Democrats are reduced to posing for sound bites. Some seem to think that all of Trump's appointments will go through and if that happens I will be amazed. I figured RFKjr to be a nice-to-have but not very realistic pick and I know they hate Tulsi Gabbard for ditching the party and fear her as much as Pete. Pam Bondi is another one they're deathly afraid of. A couple of memorable quotes:

If you're a rifleman and you lose your rifle they throw the book at you. If you're a general and you lose a war you get a promotion.
We won World War II with seven four-star generals. Today we have forty-four four-star generals. There's an inverse relationship between the size of staffs and victory on the battlefield. We don't need more bureaucracy at the top. We need more warfighters empowered at the bottom.
That was him speaking extemporaneously to people who were asking questions prepared by their staff and designed to trip him up and at the same time insult and accuse him.
He scares these people in a serious way. He's fearless and confident and he has not been and cannot be bought. The DOD grifters and grafters see their golden goose about to have its neck wrung. And the wreckers who pushed DEI and other suicidal policies see that being rolled back as well. Probably not because he immediately tosses out the alphabet people but because they can't take the heat when they're again held to standards and discipline. ~ Candidius@MyndCryme

The RINO senators who also stroked their egos but came around - the message that they will be primaried if they oppose the president seems to have gotten through. Murkowski and Collins may or may not get it yet but I wouldn't be surprised to see either of both fall next time.

The fires are pretty much yesterday's news except for the people left to pick the pieces. Some have wondered whether Newsom is snorting coke on the job - it's hard to say. He's always been in control - except when he ventured outside his safe space for that disastrous interview with Hannity. He does seem to have demonstrated that he's not more a few IQ points above the diversity hires that caused the debacle.

I had him about like Clinton IQ-wise, ten to fifteen above median - now I'm not so sure. It's the first time he has been exposed - a debacle too big for anyone to cover. Add to that the panic - he sees his presidential aspirations going up in smoke and as one who has always been in that bubble with sycophants and hangers-on telling him how wonderful he is he's lost. ~ Varek@Myndcryme
I suppose that being the smartest guy in the room isn't worth much when everyone else is an imbecile but that does seem to be the case. I noticed he's threatening to posecute people who offer to buy the burned-out properties for what he considers a 'predatory' price. I noticed the term 'unsolicited' in there - there are likely to be a lot of people offering their property for sale for whatever they can get. I suspect he sees financial disaster looming - with that many pricey properties reduced to near nothing and unlikely to be rebuilt for years tax revenue will suffer massively. And the insurance situation is going to be very interesting.

The people haven't yet repented in sackcloth and ashes. They certainly have plenty of ashes - all they need now is some repentance. Whether they will - or in sufficient numbers - remains to be seen. Real estate sellers in Florida and Texas are getting a lot of calls from people who want out of California. While Texas and Florida are the big ones in terms of getting attention (Florida isn't big enough to handle much more) other mostly southern states are seeing a lot of newcomers. My own state (adopted but it's my home) is seeing a lot of people from all over.

I sold the last piece I was willing to part with just now over a year ago - a little five-acre place on the north edge of Paragould. Nothing special about it and I asked 50K. Guy from California was out this way looking for something and told me he'd talk to his girlfriend when he got home. Called me two days later and said don't sell it I'm flying out with a check. California real estate is so inflated it was probably nothing to him. ~ MiniLindy@MyndCryme
I've met people from Illinois, New York and a couple other places moving to Arkansas. For now it's a pretty well-kept secret and while I like the migration trend I don't mind if we don't get most of them here any time soon. I hear from people in Tennessee that it's a popular destination.

The confirmation hearings haven't gone well for the enemy. A bunch of mostly ancient and mentally deficient senators - knowing that there absolutely nothing they can do to prevent the smart, young and almost without exception uncompromised and uncompromisable appointees from taking their posts and assaulting the deep state - attempt to make some memorable (for the lefty 'news' outlets and pundits) sound bites.

The average age of Democrat senators is almost 65 while the average of Republicans is under 59. The average age of Indepenents is 68 even with the young Sinema who switched from Democrat to save her career - Independents are effectively Democrats.

I had thought that RFKjr would fail and Gabbard might as well but won't be surprised if they are confirmed. Chucky Schemer as some of here refer to him may well end his career in the minority. It's hard to believe he's only 72 - it seems as if that smarmy voice his been with us forever.

[1] Sarah Palin was attacked with fake news before fake news before fake news was a big thing, e.g. the alleged "I can see Alaska" remark. Many people believe it to this day.

[2] I used the HypCryme dictionary defintion because both Wickedpedia and the Urban Dictionary (usually my favorite) both used it to bash Republicans. Hillary Clinton epitomizes 'post turtle' and the Urban Dictionary bashed Bush 43 and I'm good with bashing 43 that but Republicans are attacked in those venues because they represent conservatism however badly some of them do represent it. And 'post turtle' and 'DEI hire' are synomyms.

[3] Ghana is a West African country I know as much as I do about mainly because a half-Caucasian military officer carried out a coup in 1979 or so and executed a bunch of the worst members of the regime and after a few years resigned and allowed election of new leaders. A couple of years he had to do it again. This time he remained in charge until 1992 before again handing power back to the people.

It is error alone which needs the support of government. Truth can stand on its own. Thomas Jefferson

I have embraced crying mothers who have lost their children because our politicians put their personal agendas before the National good. I have no patience for injustice, no tolerance for government incompetence, no sympathy for leaders who fail their citizens. Donald Trump

Therefore the Lord's anger burns against his people; his hand is raised and he strikes them down. The mountains shake, and the dead bodies are like refuse in the streets. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, his hand is still upraised". Isaiah 5:25

Arrogance, ignorance, and incompetence. Not a pretty cocktail of personality traits in the best of situations. No sirree. Not a pretty cocktail in an office-mate and not a pretty cocktail in a head of state. In fact, in a leader, it's a lethal cocktail. Graydon Carter

Diversity hire,[158] equity hire, or DEI hire,[159] are disparaging and controversial labels for persons from underrepresented groups, which are, according to this label, assumed to be less qualified and have supposedly received preferential treatment due to DEI policies. Wording of some DEI initiatives can backfire and contribute to the self-perception of the hired person that they would not have been hired solely based on formal merit and have only been hired due to a combination of their underrepresented identity and formal merit.[160] The term diversity hire can refer to problematic hiring strategies such as tokenism.[158] The term "DEI", when used as a term to disparage people (particularly Black Americans), has been described as an ethnic slur.[17][18]

Amos 6 3 You put off the day of disaster and bring near a reign of terror. 4 You lie on beds adorned with ivory and lounge on your couches. You dine on choice lambs and fattened calves. 5 You strum away on your harps like David and improvise on musical instruments. 6 You drink wine by the bowlful and use the finest lotions, but you do not grieve over the ruin of Joseph. 7 Therefore you will be among the first to go into exile; your feasting and lounging will end. +30 - 39 years old 2 +40 - 49 years old 7 + 80+ years old 5 +70 - 79 years old 30 + 50-59 years old 22 + 60 - 64 years old 13 J + 65 - 69 years old 21 The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left. 3 Even as fools walk along the road, they lack sense 9 But God said to Jonah, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?” “It is,” he said. “And I’m so angry I wish I were dead.” 10 But the Lord said, “You have been concerned about this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight. 11 And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?” 6 When Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust. 7 This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh: “By the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink. 8 But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. 9 Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.”
