I didn't get even one "Covid vaccination" or any of the numerous "boosters" - how many were there or they still making new ones? - but I sure paid for some of the ones that the Homo Ovus aries took and quite a few died from. Actually very little was used for jabbing people and while the lion's share went to Big Pharma a lot went to garden-variety scammers. Enak calls them the remoras of the Planedmic - Big Pharma was the shark and they're the little scavengers along for the ride and table scraps. Sadly many were coerced into taking the jab to save their jobs but many refused and are at least still alive. President Trump ordered the reinstatement of military personnel who were dismissed for non-compliance (and removing the mentally ill debris) but how many would want to go back? The military is a better place and will be for the next four or eight or twelve years so I suppose if I were very young I might go back. It seem they get back pay so it might be worth it. And a guy close to retirement might want go back.

If we do get twelve years of sanity a military career could be a good idea if you don't have much to start out with. I wasn't one to drink excessively and gamble and chase women and other thing GIs to to waste money so money piled up in the bank. I got a good gig as soon I retired and it got even better. The only problem is if you want to do a full twenty you run the risk of having another bad administration come in before you retire. But if you're one like me that saved a lot of money you can make the transition if you have to jump - or get pushed. But if we get twelve or even eight years of Trump and Vance it will take a long time to get the engines of destruction going again - if Reagan hadn't been followed by Bush it could have been different but if a lot of things were different we wouldn't have been at the edge of the abyss a few months ago.

Not that we're that far back. Chucky Schemer as come call him around here gave us an idea of how bad the situation is for them. That he folded without even trying a 'shutdown' for a few days to see how it would fly is something I didn't expect. What will happen if Congress doesn't present an acceptable budget and Trump has to refuse do sign is another matter - as things stand now I believe he will do it. The enemy still doesn't know or hasn't accepted what it is up against. I suspect that cognitive dissonance permeates the ranks from leaders to followers:

Oz is an unusual combination of a high-achieving doctor - he has an Ivy-League pedigree and was a heart surgeon at Columbia University for decades - and a TV personality who hosted a daytime talk show for 13 seasons. He's also courted controversy over endorsements of what many experts view as questionable products and remedies. It's not the typical background for a head of CMS, which generally includes a heavy focus on health policy.

Donald Trump is an unusual combination of a high-achieving businessman - he built a multi-billion dollar business empire - and a TV personality who hosted a popular prime-time television show for thirteen or so seasons. It's not a typical background for a president of the U.S.A.

I'm not a fan of Dr. Oz - dragging his name through the mud by appearing on a certain other daytime talk show - but respect his professional accomplishments. And yeah, Trump appeared on the show once, ironically teasing a presidential bid.

The Epstein matter remains in limbo. I doubt Epstein even qualified for purgatory. Theories vary - is AB Bondi a wimp or compromised or being threatened? She wouldn't have been my first or second choice but perhaps she has what it takes and there are other reasons. Saving the juicies stuff for election season? No doubt some Republicans would be harmed but fewer than Democrats, the problem being that Democrats exposed - unless they are in prison by then - will be cheerfully reelected by their constituents while the Republicans would be goners. The possibility that it has all been destroyed or stashed somewhere is not something I consider beyond the realm of possibility.

One bleeding-heart type asked me in a recent interview if I did not agree that 'violence begets violence.' I told him that it is my earnest endeavor to see that it does. I would like very much to ensure -- and in some cases I have -- that any man who offers violence to his fellow citizen begets a whole lot more in return than he can enjoy." Jeff Cooper
