A few observations on the progress of the American Renaissance. I'm calling it that and if all goes well a hundred years from now
historians will refer to the next few decades as such. I'm good with Golden Age and a Renaissance could well usher in a Golden Age.
Let's say a Golden Age of about two centuries. I know that's probably overly optimistic but one can dream.
President Trump fired one of the worst examples of DEI in the military sector. I'll give him credit for having some experience including
some combat but thousands of guys have that and more than him. I'm not sure I know of an officer rising so quickly since Wesley Clark and
how that happened is no mystery. His appointment was strictly DEI as evidenced by the rule of the
thousand and the one.
So he shouldn't have been in that position and wouldn't have been in any case his conduct as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs he pursued the racially
divisive policies of the Biden regime and enabling the destruction of the military through the policies prescribed by his masters. As with almost
all appointments I believe that
Raizin Caine
will be an asset to the administration and an important factor in rebuilding the DOD.
I agree with our friend Silexus on this:
Quite a few people have suggested that the Trump 2.0 strategy was planned long before the election. I believe that it was planned for four
years. Whether or not Donald Trump knew or even believed that there was a good chance that he would prevail he began planning his comeback
no later than 6 January 2021.

I suspect that the opposition will have less success than in the past with court challenges to the reforms of DOGE and Trump generally. Thousands
have already been purged - yeah, I'm good with that - and with the cost of employment at over 100K average plus pensions and lifetime medical care
insurance each employee eliminated now could be a few millions in cost savings. What is a million times several millions? Well, a million times a
million is a trillion. What's the national debt? It appears that between elimination of a considerable part of the three million or so federal
employees - most of whom are doing absolutely nothing useful - along with elimination of most of the fraud and waste the budget could be balanced
immediately. Reform welfare - work requirements for recipients and reducing benefits to a reasonable level - a surplus would result. I'll take a
look at that later.
The man with the sword may have arrived in the person of Donald Trump. Whether or not he drains the swamp and ushers in a Golden Age remains to be seen
but if he is successful in eradicating a large part of the rot the country will become a very different place. Bastiat referred to the swamp as those
seeking wealth and power but in this age there is another a factor - the various perversions that have made inroads (LGBTQ+QWERTY mostly) have acquired
power in the institutions and states that embraced their depravity. The incentive is not financial but the power factor is and they are fighting tooth
and nail to preserve their gains. Already some have been reversed at least temporarily through executive orders and at the state level through legislation.
Others will take longer to be concluded as they will almost all end at the Supreme Court. If President Trump can get another justice appointed (Kagan
is shaky age and health-wise) and Justice Thomas has already retired and been replaced with someone as reliable - I know - and Kagan is similarly replaced
things would look good. Things would look even better if he found the lever on Roberts and deactivated it but that may be too much to hope for - one can
only hope that Roberts sees which way the winds of change are blowing and decides to get on board. If the Golden Age unfolds as we hope these people will
have to crawl back into their holes and be silent. If it doesn't they have at least been set back and that has never happened before.
Speaking of levers some of us speculate what the one on Lindsey Graham is. He seems to be staying in line so far but still has been popping off about
Ukraine. I hope he doesn't attempt to continue funding and muck up the peace process but that may depend on who has what on him. Whether or not the
promised Epstein revelations will arrive and what will be revealed remains to be seen but I have wondered for a while now if Graham isn't in there.
I'm not holding my breath but one never knows.
Three to four million dollar per 30-year federal employee doesn't seem so much but as someone said 'a million here and a million there'. A hundred
at that rate is 3.5 billion. A thousand is 3.5 trillion. How many can eventually be eliminated? Since somewhere around eighty percent are non-essential
around 1.9 million could go. I believe that's 6,720,000,000,000. We may find before long that simply eliminating fraud and waste will balance the budget and
the six to seven trillion saved over the next thirty years is a nice bonus.
As long as it is admitted that the law may be diverted from its true
purpose--that it may violate property instead of protecting it--then
everyone will want to participate in making the law, either to protect
himself against plunder or to use it for plunder. Frederic Bastiat, The Law
Someday, when all your civilization and science are likewise swept away, your kind will pray for a man with a sword.
